Count And Subtract

Subtracting means we will count the objects in first box which are not present in the second box.

In the figure below first box has 8 rats and second box has 5 rats and counting all the rats in first box which are not present in the second box we have 3 rats in third box.

So we can say that

8 - 5 = 3

Similarly

6 - 6 = 0

In the figure below first box has 6 cats and second box has 6 cats and counting all the cats in first box which are not present in the second box we have 0 cats in third box.
